| Short Description |
The Department of Homeland Security has launched its secure on-line Chemical Security Assessment Tool (CSAT) for completing Site Security Plans. Only facilities that submitted Security Vulnerability Assessments and were subsequently notified in writing by the Deparment that have been finally determined to be high-risk have access via CSAT to complete and submit the Site Security Plan. Few universities are likely to be considered high risk facilities. DHS has also developed 18 Risk-Based Performance Standards (RBPS) associated with a facility's risk profile. High risk facilities must comply with applicable RBPSs.
