| Short Description |
Sierra, Sustainable Endowments Institute (SEI), the Princeton Review and the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) -- are now working to develop common sustainability survey language to ease the green rating/survey burden on colleges and universities. Some leading green campuses have signaled their intention to only complete the ASSHE survey tool -- called the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating Systems or STARS -- and have encouraged other green rating groups to utilize the institution's STARS data to generate their own scorecards. The group will therefore focus on coming up with common questions that minimize the burden on colleges and universities and collect the core data that can be utilized by all raters.
