The chemical exchange database, launched in 2004, processed 300 exchanges (~1,500 kilograms in chemicals) in 2007, which included both open and unopened chemicals. There is no charge for utilizing the service, which is a joint initiative of the Sustainability Office, the Department of Health Safety and Environment and the Health Research Resource Office.
