Climate Registry Releases GHG Reporting Protocol

The Climate Registry released on April 2nd, its General Reporting Protocol, a consensus agreement among member states and provinces standardizing how greenhouse gas emissions will be voluntarily reported by member institutions. The Climate Registry is the largest climate change organization in North America, representing 39 U.S. states, seven Canadian Provinces, six Mexican States, three native tribes and the District of Columbia. The protocol defines a comprehensive methodology to calculate, verify and publicly report greenhouse gas emissions.
